Main responsibilities of this job holder is to review, assessment, and development of business processes. The focus is on the effective use of resources, both people, and technology, in the execution of organization mission.
Functioning in a liaison capacity, incumbents combine business-planning expertise in Applications Domain to analyses and translate departments’ business requirements into system deployments and / or business process changes.
Incumbents act as a change agent to help facilitate effective deployments / modifications to current business process.
Roles & Responsibilities
Identify information needs both at the organizational level and individual level
Study organization WORKFLOW from the point of view of ROLES of people involved in the workflow, RULES of workflow in terms of achieving objectives, ROUTE for the flow of actions across various units in the organization
Understand organization needs, the context around them and facilitate the change or solution whether technical or not technical to solve the problem or improve the situation.
Apply design thinking principles to design and develop innovative HR capacity building systems that empower youth in the Qatari context.
Acts as a liaison between senior management and IT team and consult with functional unit management, personnel, government entity and private organization to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access.
Analyzes the feasibility of, and develops requirements for, new systems and enhancements to existing systems; ensures the system design fits the needs of the users.
Tracks and fully documents changes for functional and business specifications; writes detailed universally understood procedures for permanent records and for use in training.
Use various methods to discover -model -analyze -optimize and automate existing or new business processes.
Analyze solution requirements to design and specify the functional and technical design of a solution.
Identify the possible technologies that are feasible for given solution requirements
understand technical knowledge of a specific application and usage of an application
Participates in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality
Provides technical assistance in training, mentoring, and coaching professional and technical staff.
Develops a training curriculum and conducts formal training sessions covering assigned systems module
Postgraduate degree in information systems or related disciplines.
11+ Years relevant experience as Solution Analyst.
Strong Experience and knowledge in HR domain are essential with focus on carrier advising systems is preferable
Delivering similar project in the domain of HR and capacity building (at least 3 Enterprise-level Projects)
Experience with UML. Knowledge of design patterns.
Experience with Enterprise Applications like ERP, Microsoft SharePoint will be a bonus
Experience with mobile and Cloud technologies like Oracle, Azure is desired
To operate under pressure, successfully handle multiple competing priorities.
Ability to learn and quickly familiarize with complex business and systems environments.
Ability to work independently, as well as in teams.
Excellent technical know-how, analytical, communications, presentation and relationship management skills.
Fluency in English & Arabic, written and oral.
