College Department Profile The College of the North Atlantic Qatar is inviting nominations and applications for the position of Receptionist in the Department of Human Resources Reporting to the Section Head HR Operations the Receptionist must provide exceptional customer service to employees guests and visitors of the college as well as provide administrative support to the Human Resource Department College of the North Atlantic Qatar Profile The beautiful and culturally progressive State of Qatar is home to the worldclass postsecondary institution College of the North AtlanticQatar CNAQ Internationally recognized as a comprehensive technical college CNAQ is committed to high quality studentcentered education This commitment is reflected through stateoftheart facilities accessible and responsive technology programs and strong partnerships with industry With more than 600 staff and 3 000 students CNAQ is one of Qatar s largest postsecondary institutions offering over 30 diploma programs and 3 brand new applied degree programs through studentcentred learning By providing training in a range of technical areas including Engineering Technology Health Sciences Industrial Trades Business Studies and Information Technology CNAQ brings the State closer to the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030 Duties Responsibilities This position requires an enthusiastic individual who will be the first point of contact for visitors of HR department and provide them with the required assistance The incumbent will be responsible to handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls and perform clerical and administrative duties within the reception area of HR The candidate will keep records of visitors and callers take messages for staff that are not available and convey the messages in a timely manner and maintain a general filing system to ensure all correspondences both electronic on SharePoint and paper files are filed correctly in a timely and efficient manner The candidate will support the department by drafting employee contracts and preparing all HR helpdesk letters track and distribute incoming mail and perform a variety of routine typing assignments such as drafting basic correspondence entering data printing letters labels reports and or other materials The candidate will provide assistance for the use of equipment including printer and photocopier and ensure materials and supplies are stored appropriately assist in the planning preparation of meetings or conferences and ensure the reception area is well organized at all times
