Job Summary : Reportingto the Director of Finance & Business Support, you will drive superiorfinancial performance in your hotel and provide necessary input for monthly andquarterly reviews.

Managing the overall financial function for the hotel,you will provide management with timely financial analysis for effectivedecision-

making. Additionally, prepare all statutory and managementrequirements of IHG.As an Assistant Directorof Finance and Business Support, you will be accountable for overseeingthe overall operation of the credit and collection department

Key responsibilities :

  • Plansstrategies and techniques to be implemented by staff for a more efficient andspeedy collection of accounts.
  • Preparesletters pertaining to collection follow-up and replies to letters of inquiriesand complaints from clients and houseguests.
  • Handlesfollow-up of delinquent and problem accounts. Endorses delinquent accounts tolegal as may deem necessary.
  • Verifiesand confirms status of prospective accounts through the association of creditexecutives in the tourism industry and other sources which function is foundrelevant.

    Qualifications :

    Ideally, you will have a Bachelor in Finance, Economics or Commerce, a minimum of 5 years experience in a hotel finance department with hotel controllership a definite plus.

    Additionally, you will be a strong leader, a good team player and supported by excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills, be open to changes, prepared for flexible working hours with some moderate travel as required.
