About the role : Accountable for the 24 / 7 planning and delivery of all aspects of the Catering Services operation worldwide.
Works across the organization to deliver all aspects of the on-board service requirement, ensuring that all flights departs on time and with the correct specification of catering, bars and dry stores.
Leads, manages and develops the supplier community and internal teams to deliver the highest standards of compliance and safety.
Responsible for developing and implementing the strategic plan, which provides liaison across delivery activities between the Equipment Team, catering suppliers, worldwide airports and the DOH hub during normal and disrupted operations.
Accountable for providing the strategic direction to the performance management of all service providers to ensure that the agreed service is consistently delivered at the highest possible standard at the lowest cost.
Accountable for the daily operational aspects of Catering Services. Including taking appropriate action and for making timely decisions to ensure delivery of catering at all times 24 / 7 whilst protecting safety and operational integrity.
Develops and leads the relationship with all suppliers, in relation to the processes and procedures, with the global airport management team as a key part of the turnaround process at airports worldwide.
Leads caterer Business Continuity and operational contingency planning and execution to maintain operations during disruption and represents Catering Services on corporate safety boards and in security / safety reviews.

About you :
An ideal candidate will have a minimum of High School / Vocational Qualification and 12 years of job-related experience or Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years of job-related experience.
Working in an operational role within large multi-cultural operational teams preferably within airlines / airline catering
Experience of working at a senior level in an operational / semi-operational environment.
Very good command of English language.
High level of computer literacy especially in regard to MS Excel
High level written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills'
Ability to cope with a high degree of ambiguity and change.
Experience of managing an absentee team and suppliers
Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills.
Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
Experience of working for an airline caterer.
In depth knowledge of global catering operations and suppliers.
Arabic language skills
Performance Management background.
