About the role

We are hiring for skills to be responsible for leading the business intelligence, performance monitoring and reporting and opportunity identification for all feeder flows generated via Qatar Airways’ Strategic Alliance Partners.

Responsible to develop and maintain KPIs across the 4 pillars of Commercial, Procurement, Technical & Cargo for each partner and to communicate across the Strategic Alliances Team and other internal stakeholders (incl.

Network Planning, Revenue Management, Sales). Responsible to develop joint performance decks and reporting with the partner airline, within individual competition and regulatory frameworks, and to support the organization of the Governing Boards, Management Committees and other Strategic Alliance forums.

Duties would include :

  • Developing and maintaining a single source set of KPIs for strategic alliance flows accessible to the entire organization to expand awareness of strategic alliances contribution.
  • Monitoring and reporting sales intake, market share evolution and flown trends, across all relevant offline flows, by O&D, gateway, Partner, PoS, Cabin, Channel, Agent and other metrics.
  • Identifying opportunities across partnership, network planning, revenue management and sales to increase retained and received feeder flow revenue.
  • Reporting and identifying opportunities across joint procurement, technical cooperation and cargo with each strategic alliance partner.
  • Preparing standard internal decks for various parts of the QR organization, relevant to each division’s KPIs and targets.
  • Preparing standard external decks to ensure a shared assessment and understanding of partnership performance, trends and opportunities.
  • Any other ad-hoc project / analysis as required by the business.

    About You

    We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join the Strategic Alliances Team.

  • A bachelor’s degree qualification.
  • 6+ years of experience of job related experience.
  • Prior experience in airline partnerships, commercial business intelligence, revenue management, pricing, network planning or sales.
  • Proven technical expertise in Airline Partnership and Alliances
  • Business planning and associated processes in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Deep understanding of the airline partnership business and airline profitability metrics.
  • Deep knowledge of airline industry revenue planning processes, including capacity / network planning and revenue forecasting.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills.
  • Proven influencing and negotiating skills, including the ability to achieve results through individuals outside his / her direct control.
