DohaWork Locations : Hilton Salwa Beach & VillaSalwa Doha tbdA Procurement Executive will supervise the purchase of goods and materials required by the hotel in adherence to policy and with cost reduction and profitability in mind of Hilton's newest resort and entertainment complex in Qatar.

The Salwa Beach Resort is to become one of the largest resorts in the Middle East. It spreads along a 3.5km pristine beach front on the southwest coast of Qatar.

Managed by Hilton, it will have 362 hotel rooms and residential units with private beaches, a world-class leisure and waterpark, sports club, marina, dive center, health club, spa, restaurants, cinemas and retail space.

The resort is scheduled to open in 2020 and can be found on Google and YouTube under its working title 'Salwa Beach Resort'.

  • What will I be doing?As Procurement Executive , you will supervise the purchase of goods and materials required by the hotel in adherence to policy and with cost reduction and profitability in mind.
  • Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards : Assist the Purchasing Manager with the purchasing of all goods and equipment required by the hotelSupervise the purchase of correct goods and materials at a competitive price and proper quantities / volumesAssist the Purchasing Manager with regularly report on goods purchased and inventory levels so to allow for more effective future purchasingReport all monthly savings to the hotel TeamWork with hotel management to improve the purchasing process as a way to reduce waste and improve profitabilityMaintain good communication and working relationships with all hotel areasAttend finance meetings, as requiredAct in accordance with fire, health and safety regulations and follow the correct procedures when requiredServe your role and Team in an environmentally-

    To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow : Previous experience in a high volume Accounts functionComputer literate, with good MS Excel skillsGood time management and organisation skillsPassion for providing an exceptional customer service experienceIt would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions : Previous experience with the Birchstreet and the PeopleSoft systemRelevant degree, in Finance / Accounting or related business discipline, from an academic institutionWhat will it be like to work for Hilton?
