Assures proper installation, preventivemaintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and piping systemsto ensure their maximum service life and efficiency as well astheir optimal utilization
Assists maintenanceand operating supervision in troubleshooting problems with criticaland less critical machinery to be able to correct equipment issues,provides support in performing root cause analysis
Performs corrective maintenance activities such asbearing change, opening of pumps for inspection or unclogging,change oil or grease, realignment of equipment,
Provides alternatives when equipment failure is impedingplant operation
Prepares permit to workdocumentation and follows the health and safety requirements suchas safe isolation procedures (Lock Out / Tag Out)
Understands drawings, schematics, P&IDs andsupplier technical documentation for equipment
Report in written (English) regarding the maintenance tasksperformed, describing the activity properly and giving relevantdata records
Supervise the work of mechanicalsubcontractors if instructed to do so by the Supervisor
Reviews equipment repair to detect required designchanges in cases where abnormal / customized maintenanceoccurs ![]()
