Job Description

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Project manages business units and corporate departments that are undertaking prioritized improvement initiatives through Company's stage-gate initiative delivery process : ideation, feasibility, solution design, execution, and impact assessment.
  • Ideation Phase : Identify the required analysis to conduct and collect details on potential initiatives from units / departments and prepare proposals for leadership discussions on prioritization for the next phase with limited guidance of the Senior Manager.
  • Impact & Feasibility Phase : Manage the cross-functional teams to gather the requested data, and conduct the assigned baseline analyses for the business cases;
  • prepare the content / presentations for leadership decisions.

  • Solution Design & Implementation Phase : Manage the cross-functional teams in developing work plans / road maps to implement the approved solutions.
  • Execution & Governance Phase : Monitor status on progress of initiatives through follow-ups on the roadmap and prepare dashboards for leadership.
  • P&L Impact Phase : Define the assessments and carry them out to track impact against initially targeted objectives.
  • Other Duties : Support the company's market intelligence activities through gathering market research and conducting macro / micro-analyses;
  • maintain the company's internal market intelligence database tool (training will be provided); develop slides for use in presentations

    Market / Industry / Functional Knowledge :

  • 2+ years of Management Consulting is a must
  • Experience working in mature markets or with blue-chip companies in emerging markets is a must
  • Demonstrated problem solving / structuring skills
  • Demonstrated data gathering / analysis skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to lead projects & initiatives forward without intervention from senior management
  • Strong presentation support skills (summarizing content, developing client-ready slides, etc.)
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills. Ability to work independently in a results-oriented, project-driven team environment, while prioritizing projects and delivering quality results within tight timeframes.
  • Knowledge of the shipping, logistics and energy industries is preferred
