DohaAbout Your JobYou will be responsible to manage the various business systems in use in Technical and coordinate with System Vendors and QR IT on the implementation, maintenance and usage of the system by the various sections in Technical Department.

Key Accountabilities include : OperationalManages and controls the system implementations, enhancements and upgrades across Technical ensuring the systems in use are maintained at a high level of operational effectiveness.

Leads and supervises the up keep of business systems in use across Technical to ensure that the systems are continuously evaluated and enhanced as per the changing needs.

Manages the development, training and support to maximize the use of advanced system functionality used by Technical Department.

This includes business critical systems (MRO, Tooling, Inventory Optimization, Production Planning and other systems).Responsible for continuous review of the MRO and other Technical systems to identify gaps in existing processes and system capability and proposes system enhancements to have appropriate controls so that the changes meet the defined business results.

Manage and coordinate with OEMs for their Systems for all support, releases and implementation of their systems and its modules and provide integration with current Technical MRO and other systems.

Leads the development and execution of system and data oriented approaches in order to support data driven objective business decisions.

Leads in the development of the required system metrics and dashboards in order to have standard objective measurements and data controls are in place and providing real time reports to concerned stakeholders within Technical.

Work with the SMEs in technical to identify and manage implementation of data analytic initiatives for MRO and OEM systems within selected technical systems and support in their design, testing and implementation of these initiatives.

Liaise with Data Owners within Technical to agree on the requirements and process to handle any modifications for any features or data inconsistencies that are identified and manage its execution for regular releases to the existing systems.

Responsible for drafting and executing integrated test plans, test scenarios as well as user acceptance and regression test packs for selected Technical Systems with auditable records of testing done by the System Support and Subject Matter Expert teams.

Leads the setup of a user management and data administration support process for selected systems and manages an auditable role allocation matrix for selected technical systems.

Manage the Technical MIS Repository for weekly, monthly, KPI reporting relevant to selected Technical Systems and develops process measurement reporting by maintaining data accuracy in the MRO system.

Adopts a positive and result-driven culture by engaging and motivating other project team members.Develops cross functional capability by implementing and executing cross departmental projects.

Actively promote continuous improvement across Technical through training of staff, conducting workshops and implementing projects.

Ensures all System documentation with reference to Manuals, contracts, User guides and other relevant documents are kept up to date with proper document versioning and centralized access whenever needed.

Prepare periodic reports on systems and other management reports as and when required.About YouWe are looking for a bachelor degree or equivalent.

Preference will be given to holders of Bachelors in Systems or Computer Science and 6 sigma lean qualified. You should have at least 7 years of job related experience with broad knowledge of aviation applications, MRO systems.

You should have good knowledge of System development life cycle, support and implementation methodologies and integration between MRO system modules and other aviation applications.

You should have strong demonstrated commitment to customer service and proactively review the process and procedures to enhance service quality, service delivery and support.

You must have good command of written and spoken English and must be highly proficient in using MS Office tools (advanced excel, Word, Power Point).

Candidates having Six Sigma Certification Green Belt or PMI Certification will have an added advantage.
